Brand Nubian member Sadat X will offer a sequel to his 1996 debut with his 7th studio album Wild Cowboys II. The original Wild Cowboys was an underground favorite in the mid 90s due to production from Diamond D, Buckwild, Da Beatminerz, Pete Rock, and Showbiz. It featured the singles “Hang ‘Em High” and “The Lump Lump,” both of which charted in the top 20 of Billboard’s Hop Rap Singles list. For the sequel, Sadat X has recruited beats from 9th Wonder, DJ Spinna, Pete Rock, Diamond D, Buckwild, Will Tell, and Grant Parks. The project will also feature guest spots from Lord Jamar, Grand Puba, A.G., Rhymefest, Ill Bill, Kurupt, Umi, and Dead Prez’ M1. Sadat X’s last offering was 2009’s Brand New Bein’.
